Comment Policy

It is my goal at Borrow From None to create a conversation on the various topics presented here. As such, I warmly welcome comments that add to the discussion.

However, there are some comment policies to which all who comment must adhere.

Be Respectful

Please be respectful and courteous to other readers and those who have already commented. This does not mean that you can’t disagree with them. Please feel free to disagree with other comments and of course with me. Just disagree in a respectful and edifying way. Profane or obscene comments will not be tolerated.

Comment Moderation

The first time that you leave a comment, it will be moderated. I try to approve comments at least once per day. If you do not see you comment appear on the site within a reasonable amount of time, I have either rejected the comment or have not seen it yet. Feel free to send me an email asking me for clarification.

Email Address and Comment Use

Please use a valid e-mail address when adding a comment. Your email address will not be displayed on the blog. You will not be put on any mailing lists nor will your address be sold to anyone else. For more information, refer to the privacy policy.

When you comment, you are allowing Borrow From None to use your comment for the benefit of the site. This can include highlighting a great comment, writing a post in response to a comment, republishing material from the comment, or even selling. I will ask permission if the comment will be reused in a way that might be uncomfortable with the exception of selling the site.

Names and Links

Please use a name that represents you in some way.

Feel free incorporate relevant links into your comment. Links can be to your own site or someone else’s site as long as the are relevant to the discussion. I will delete comments with irrelevant links.

Please use this guide to posting links. Insert this text into the comment text box to create a link when the comment is posted.

    • Bad: here
