September Site Statistics – Alliteration Edition

October 20, 2008 · Filed Under Random · Comments

One of my favorite and most oft-repeated quotes is from Mark Twain (he attributed the quote to Benjamin Disraeli):

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

Why would I put that in a post about the statistics of my site?  No reason, I just like the quote!  (Actually, it might be good to keep this quote in mind since it is "poll season" with the election just around the corner)

Anyway, September was a great month here at BorrowFromNone.com – its best month ever! (that’s a joke as it’s only been up since very late July)  For the month, there were a total of 18,676 visitors, 20,976 visits, and 33,177 page views.  During the month, BFN enjoyed its 50,000th page view.  The cumulative totals through the end of September were 40,801 visits for a total of 66,253 page views. I still haven’t cracked the 100 subscriber barrier though.  I’d like to get there as I’m holding off on putting a feedburner chicklet up on the site until I cross that threshold.

I really appreciate all the traffic that is being sent my way from the many great blogs that are out there.  Here is a list of the top referrers for the month:

  1. ChristianPF.com
  2. BibleMoneyMatters.com
  3. ThePassiveDad.com
  4. GatherLittleByLittle.com
  5. Moolanomy.com
  6. Spilling Buckets
  7. GetRichSlowly.org
  8. Interesting Pile
  9. The Apostle Of The Turtle
  10. The Happy Rock

Thank you so much for your support!

It was a big month, so the most popular posts for the month are the ones currently displayed as the overall most popular up on the top left corner of the site.

  1. 45 Ways to Earn Some Extra Money
  2. Warren Buffet’s 10 Ways to Get Rich
  3. Making Money Spotlight: Using CashCrate to Earn Some Extra Money
  4. Biblical Financial Lesson from the Book of Acts
  5. Is Giving Really that Important?

Thank you so much for supporting Borrow From None.  It’s been a lot of fun so far.  With everything that has been going on lately at home, at work, at BFN, and at my other side projects, I’ve had to drop down to three posts per week for the foreseeable future (and I still haven’t gotten to half the stuff on my project todo list).  I do plan to add back in a fourth and then a fifth post each week as soon as possible.  In the meantime, please check back for posts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the near term.

Have a great month and God bless…

Keep up the great work John. It takes a little while but it pays off a little, plus we all enjoy it while we do it.
